This video looks at textiles that actually absorb CO2. 

Humans pollute from beyond the grave.

Our dead bodies are full of toxic pollutants- pesticides, preservatives, and heavy metals- emitted they decompose. 

This morbid reality inspired Korean artist Jae Rhim Lee’s Burial Suit (featured at the start of the video). 

Lee’s creation, featured in Somerset House’s Fungi exhibition, transforms corpses into clean compost. The suit is made of mushrooms which absorb the body’s toxins and protect the soil from being polluted.
