Schools in UK still ‘Skip’ colonialism in their history books. Do we need to reform school curriculums?

 The toppling of infamous slave trader Edward Colston’s statue in Bristol has reignited debates on the problem of ‘erasing’ history.

But a more pressing concern among some pupils and teachers is the history that’s already being erased in UK schools. Learning about British colonialism is not compulsory.
